I'm not sure, but I will make some inquiries and let you know.

Usually there are a number of vendors who attend along with the numerous reenactor unit cantonement areas, so there is plenty to see and experience beside the demonstration program itself.

As for the Motor Pool,....ah, can't make any promises, but I'll see if perhaps an escorted 'tour' can be arranged in the afternoon.

The LST may be a stretch, due to limited personnel and a full day 'timeline' at Keyes Park.

Find me in the exhibit area, and we can see what time will allow.

Here are a couple of teasers from yesterdays prep-activities...





Tomorrow is the big set up day, weather is improving so should be a good weekend overall. I'll try to post updated photos at the end of each day. It may be late by the time I am able to get home and post that days photos.

Well guys, I'm about 60% of the way there. We've stopped for the night - should be in the AO about mid-day tommorrow (Fri).

I hope the weather clears - the computer weather "crystal ball" looks pretty good for the weekend except for the comment "scattered shows" for Sat. Maybe those won't come until evening

I'm really looking forward to being there. I haven't made it to a Patton Museum shindig for about 30 years.

Photo and video cameras are loaded and ready - hoping to use both extensively but not be underfoot too badly.

I'll have a US Coast Guard ballcap on, say hello if you see me. How many of those are gonna be there?

I'll be driving the WC-51 towing an M1 anti-tank gun, unless there is a change in the script. I have no exceptional identifying features and I'll be dressed in green like a lot of people there.

Here's our intrepid heroes Don and Garry moving the 223 armored car to a new location on Friday afternoon.

I have to be in Memphis tomorrow, will not be able to attend that day. Hopefully I might be able to attend Sunday.
