heya gents.....wanted to see whats up with rocket aviation and FSE....seems these days I have picked it up again and have been making piles of cash.....enjoying the hell out of it too!
I didn't notice any recent activity in rocket aviation so after delivering the one plane back to its home I left R/A to go solo, I almost have enough cash to buy myself a plane now, my new favourite ride is the dehavilland caribou...(payware)....I'm flying all around the west coast and am currently taking a few day breather at fairchild.....am back at work now!!!!doh....I'm guessing because the R/A forum is gone so is the company????...oh well....is anyone else still doing FSE?.....and was also wondering if the pigsty at orcas isle is set up for FSX?,,,,talk to ya's later

Hey Wingman!

I don't have FSX and made no mods for it, but reliable reports for other scenery I'm familiar with (Phu Bai) says, most stuff carries over, but a couple of textures on static AC (in Phu Bai) didn't carry over.

The "Pig Sty" was built around the default runway or Orcas Is. , so unless it "moved" in FSX, it should be fairly compatitible, but I have no way to test it. All I did in that one was add the "extra features".

If you load it and it doesn't work, just delete from your addon scenery for FSX (if it works that way), and by all means let me know what you found!

I certainly will try that out...it'll be a few days though until I return home but yeah...I'll let ya know and will also get some pics to.....will be good if it does work because there is usually people looking for flights to orcas isle from vancouver. don't worry too much about that either...unless it's a planeload of swine seeking females it wouldn't be worth the trip.....

Been MIA for about 4 months but this is the lowdown. RA is still there but everyone has pretty much gone their own way, although recently Jason (av8er152) has reappeared.

I personally have started Cavalry Aviation which has FBO's in the Sierras, all short hops to fill my Helo fixation. Gates at KLAX, KTRK & flights generated at KTVL. FBO's at L70, L05, 26L, O26, 2O7, KBIH (HQ), O24, O57, KPVF, Q82 & KMCC.

Cav Aviations fleet consists of 2 Bell 412's, 1 Bell 205, 1Bell 206B, 1 Bell 430, 1 MD500E/hughes 500, 1 Mooney Bravo & 1 DC3. Your more than welcome to join along with any of you other stinky saus. Pay is 50%.
