The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Many Thanks! A few questions: 1) Did you manage to get an SN off the Terre Haute M60? Any GPS info by chance? 2) Did you happen to see and photograph the M60 at the ARNG Armory at 3614 Maple Ave in Terre Haute? BTW, there's also an M60A3 at the Rose-Hullman Institute for Technology: www.waymarking.com/way...e_Haute_IN Thanks again! Neil

Neil Here is the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology tank, located in Terre Haute, Indiana. 39 29'06.34" N 87 19'22.38"W Does anyone have any idea why the army doesn't just weld in the serial number on the hull, why the stamp? If you are a tanker is the serial number unimportant?? just curious
