M15/42 turrets
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Italian tank turrets, for sure. Should be located in Egypt, Lybia or something like this, I guess...

They could be either M 13, M 14 or M 15. You can't tell from the picture.
Anyway, if you manage to get more info, please post.

Thanks

How he managed to take those photographs without killing himself on the mines I don't know... They are about 1.5km into that particular WWII minefield near the Calansho Sand Sea.

you can do deadly things when you don't know.
Maybe this guy didn't know that he was in a minefield?

Knowing the guy, he sure did know it. Probaly he talked a local guy to bring him there.

Maybe, but stuff in the sahara gets sandblasted maybe ten times a year. I hope when I see that guy I will know more about it.

Neil,

that's also in Lybia. You can see that the metal is also clean, because the wind and the sand blasted the paint :
