#1: Kubinka Panzer II F - repaint finished Author: Taranov, Location: Moscow, RussiaPosted: Mon Mar 09, 2009 7:37 am ---- Very long project, in fact: tank removed from exposition in november 2006, returned in 17 february. Initial idea of restoration team this project - Panzer II F in running condition, but this tank absolutely clean inside, internal equipment removed in late 40-s - early 50-s.
Serial number of this tank - 28384 (28 - Panzer II F, 384 - number of hull). He rebuilded after spring 1943, original Panzergrau color removed and repainted to Dunkelgelb. Color and markings authentic - he have turret number II01, it's HQ tank. From ours side (repaint team) work almost done, just need fix crosses, restoration team also restore some external equipment details.
