He backed his tank up, lowered his main gun and drove the tank into his wingman's tank until the main gun pressed against the side of the wingman's turret. It pushed the gun back into battery and he was able to continue the run.
He was an old Nam era tanker, the only one in the battalion with a Vietnam combat patch (4th ID).
