Hey, it's fixed. Question 9 for me was "a modern tank exerts a ground pressure approximately equivalent to a walking man...False or False?" (I should have taken a screenshot*).

*HA! Same questions repeat: (Hint: the first "false" is the correct answer, if you answer to the second one, well...shame on you! Laughing )

Why we love the Military Channel, reason number 6...(I'm tellin' ya', the whole thing's a cheap, sordid scam!)

I would suggest that Mark might have an interest in this swindle (since he posted the link), but I don't want to hear from his libel attorneys... Wink

Still got a book offer though. Laughing

Question 8 is not correct because the M68 105mm uses a fin stabilized SABOT round.

Created as an alternate name by a DamnYankee Evil or Very Mad who couldn't stand having a tank named after a real Cavalry leader

I also missed Q8...because the 105mm SABOT round had fins! I knew what they were looking for, but answered it accurately instead of correctly. It is a Military Channel quiz, so I should know better...

According to Wikipedia Gen James Gavin was born in New York City and grew up in Mt Carmel PA.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...s_M._Gavin

But I would NEVER associate his name with an AFV

C_Sherman - agreed, and the 120mm of the Chieftain, Challenger 1 and Challenger 2 fires APFSDS too.

Perhaps someone will give 'them' a clue what a 'technical consultant' is, and it might include some sort of knowledge base beyond Wikipedia.

I can vouch for "Cities of the Underworld-Tunnels of Vietnam" doing their homework. About 100 email exchanges worth with a researcher for the show.

Some of the questions (in this case, explosion effects, sound pressure levels on hearing, etc.) are two-dimensional/pure linear, but I commend them for their effort. Not sure that happens much (or if it does, that they take any notes) over at the M.C.
