....if you have the dosh, the Dell U2410 (1920 x 1200 res, IPS screen) is worthy of serious consideration and it gets some good reviews. It has a 3 yr, 100% pixel perfect (& I think sub-pixel) guarantee, plus next day replacement in UK (and USA ?).
I've seen one and it looks impressive.
