According to Neil's Photo Wish List:

The SN for the M60 is 289.
The SN for the M60A1 is 8804.

My experience with numbers stamped under rear tow lugs on M114s is not good. In the few instances I have observed there were different numbers (usually close) under each lug. I have not been able to look inside any to see if they bear any relation to actrual serial numbers
