I wasnt aware they had a 2S1, Abrams or XM701 - I wonder if they are relatively recent additions...
Can anyone ID the Abrams model? I wonder if it was the first Abrams to enter Iraq since 3-69 Armor was supposedly the first to enter during ODS?
She's an M1IP 105mm. If she entered Iraq during Desert Storm she would have to sport 1st ID, 2nd BDE markings from Fort Riley with either 3-37 or 4-37 Armor numbers. They were at Safwan when it all ended and the only two battalions that had them. 3-69 had switched to M1A1's before the ground war kicked off IIRC.
