Hi folks,

picture's of surviving anti-tank guns used by the Allies

starting with some British 17pdr AT-gun

1st: 17pdr AT-gun Mk 1 on carriage Mk 1 at Oosterbeek



2nd: 17pdr AT-gun Mk 1 on carriage Mk 1 at Oosterbeek, with damaged gun shield

You missed the 3.rd Gun at the Airborne Museum Hartenstein
This one is in the parc at the back of the museum

Here are some of my pictures of the 6-pdr AT Gun on display as a monument at Heelsum, The Netherlands. As you can see it is the Airborne version. The 16" wheels are a later addition, it seems the German nicked all the wheels they could scrounge off the battlefield when finally departing home in 1945!

This 6pdr is located in a diorama that is located in the basement of Airborne museum Hartenstein

The set-up of the diorama is to look like a night-fight so there was allmost no light to take the picture
That also explains why the picture is rather shaky

Next time I will take some drinks to get a steady hand
