Could this be true?

“The Patton Museum and collection will stay here and we’ll have a new storyline and display, but the military equipment will still remain in front of the museum and can be seen from Dixie Highway.”
~Colonel Scott Cottrell, BRAC chief for the Army Accessions Command

Mark

There is no change to the information that Garry Redmon posted on www.armorfortheages.com.

This 'new' statement is partially true but not totally clear. Yes 'some' armor vehicles will remain, but a mere handful. Pretty much anything operational is history for the Patton Museum. Don't listen to anything that a BRAC official says,.....they are not making factually accurate statements.

The Armor & Cavalry Museum at Ft Benning will possess a majority of vehicles that are currently believed to be 'The Patton Museum'. The key phrase in the above is "...we'll have a new storyline and display..."

That is a hint of the truth. Rolling Eyes

Don

Some of that military equipment mentioned above will probably consist of field pieces, not armor.

Thanks for the info. I think Colonels and above are part politician anyway so I guess that explains it!
