I am done uploading pictures of WW II artifacts:

Later today I will start uploading post-war stuff. In many ways these will be even more interesting because, after all, the WW II vehicles in Saumur are very well documented on the web.

This M16 isn't part of the standard display, I managed to catch it due to a temp exhibition:

About the FlaK 88
Is it a real german build one or is it a Spanish license build copy Confused

Is there something, like markings on the breech, that allows you to detect that?

Massimo

could be, I don't realy know

I know 1 FlaK 88mm in the Netherlands that has some Spanish marking plates on it

Even if you would know some markings of the 88 at Saumuur, I can't tell if they would be correct
Don't know the markings for German guns Laughing

Hi Folks!

Of the two 88mms I have seen here at Ft Bliss, both had markings on top of one of the legs, out near the end that had a serial number and year it was make. The 1st AD item that is here now is dated 1939 and the one that went to Ft. Still was dated 1940.

Last weekend I've uploaded quite a bunch of pictures of post-WW II vehicles, including M41, M47, M48 and M60. Right now I am on the road for a consulting gig, and the firewall here blocks Flickr. But you can check the pics yourself:

During the weekend I will be back at home and I will upload more shots. Mostly covering soviets and french subjects
