May 17, 2011 after two o'clock PM returned from restoration M36B2 tank destroyers.

Thanks for the great pictures. Nice to see another restored AFV.

Looks like an ex-Yugo vehicle. Guess all that smoke is the old Soviet diesel engine.

Hi Roy!
To date, the Military Technical Museum - Lesany own: 2x M36 and 2x Sherman.

Both the M36 and one Sherman, we brought from Slovenia (ex Yugoslavia). Latest Sherman was imported from somewhere in Europe.

I think the M4A1 which is in the exposition is from Italy. I've read somewhere that it was actually changed for the complete lower hull from Panther.

You're right, I think it has got T-55's engine.
