#1: Womens Airforce Service Pilots Flyin Author: JG300-1Bullet, Location: Odessa, TexasPosted: Mon May 28, 2012 3:23 pm ---- Saturday our squadron got invited to fly over to the WASP flyin at Avenger Field Sweetwater TX. I got to ride over in our PT-13. The WASP have a pretty nice museum there with a lot of history of their unit. I thought I would share some pics and videos of the flight. There were two more stearmans there that actually came all the way from Wisconsin. 15hrs flying time with 6 fuel stops....... It only took us about 1.5 hrs to fly over

AS you may notice there are no pics of the return trip. With old planes come some problems sometimes, and on this day we had a mag switch problem so we had to hitch a ride back by ground . But all in all it was a great day.
