It looks like we will be making a trip to Barbados in a couple of months and am considering checking out the HARP gun there. Has anyone on here been there, seen it before?

Would appreciate any recommendations - finding it a little difficult to find exactly how to get to it.

Not sure if you have map/coords already. On Flickr I've seen this picture. It's pretty recent and geo-tagged:

Yep, question is exactly how to get there - from Long Beach in the west, or Foul Bay in the east. Plus there's a Barbados Defence Force small arms range to get past... If the red flag is up, you dont go past...

You may create a free Flickr account and try to contact the guy who took the pictures. It's not that much time-consuming; it could be worth the efforts

He runs a hiking/tour business - was thinking of using him.

Thanks for posting Jiri!

Update - we leave at the end of the week for our Caribbean vacation and have a hiking trip reserved for the HARP gun. Will post pictures sometime after!

Here's the photos from our visit.

I wasnt able to get any data off the HARP Gun breech - but the spare barrel is a Mk II Mod 1 SN 114. SN 111 is at the Washington Navy Yard, while 96 and 100 are at NSWC Dahlgren.
