More likely a 155mm M1918 - US licence-built GPF.

Looking at street view - the gun has lost its wheels but the barrel is definitely a GPF or M1918 - 5 tube barrel.

M1917 GPF No.959 PUTEAUX its a French one I believe, Good find. I'll post a pic later if I dont forget

That's an M2 or M3 carriage (depending on starting point), a GPF carriage modified for motor transport.

Captured French 155 GPF's are apparently the guns that the allies expected to find at Pont du Hoc overlooking Utah Beach (before they were moved). Maybe everyone else knew this already, but it was news to me. Shocked
