Museum of Aviation Author: JG300-Stoopy, Location: Group W benchPosted: Thu Jul 25, 2013 12:47 am ---- I'm absolutely enthralled by that Ikarus 451, particularly the propellor-driven version. Unconventional, sleek, obviously quite small, and had to be an absolute handful with one engine out. But also a very strangely beautiful aircraft in its own way.
I read a Wikipedia article on the series and it was very enlightening. Thanks for pointing out an aircraft type that I'd never seen before in all my long years of being an aircraft fanatic.

I may have some additional surprising types among the pictures I took in Luzern and Dubendorf (Switzerland) museums too.
