For a second there I thought it was an Argie M9 with a 105mm howitzer, but when you mentioned Thailand...
The gun is a Bofors 105mm piece, apparently the m/40 model, on an International Harvester M5 or M9 halftrack.

The Americans paved the way with their own Halftrack based gun/howitzer motor carriages, culminating in the T19 with the 105mm howitzer. The Israelis, Argentinians and Thais all followed in their footsteps. Wink
