We are doing some historical research attempting to find information on a searchlight produced back in the 1950s. It was the round, 18" searchlight (turret-) mounted on some M-46 tanks (and a few M-48s as well); the Crouse-Hind (model 44676C; NSN 6230-00-624-3567).
Specifically, we need that searchlight's luminous intensity in candlepower; was it 1 million candlepower, or somewhat different?
Any info or pointers would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul
