Just for ten days.

Please bear in mind this is the only Panther in running order Saumur is owning.
Though they actually possess several other Maybach engine, most of them serving as spares just in case, the other Panther tanks they have are empty (for the very same reason).

As they point out on the website, standing just 10 yards away from where two of the type were knocked out in the fighting there exactly 70 years ago.

That would have been quite a treat for traffic on the motorways. One wonders how many people would have had any idea what it was or what period it represented.
