In the background one could clearly see what appears to be a German WWI gun on the lawn.

A little searching and I see it is the current capitol, and there are two of them.

The 15cm lg,sFH 1913 has the long barrel. It is the 15cm lg.sFH 13 in Jackson, MS not the 15cm sFH 13.
