I made an number of attempts to gain access to JGSDF Camp Tsuchiura to see the great collection of Japanese and US AFVs. I was denied access to the museum as a foreign citizen. I had then hoped to see the collection on the Open House scheduled for 10/19/19 but THAT was cancelled due to Typhoon Hagibis! The best I could do was an over-the-fence shoot from the Yushukan Museum that is affiliated with the Yokaren Peace Museum near the base.
The museum's 2 running Japanese WWII tanks were not visible and most of the US stuff was too far away!!
