Notice the various machine gun protection up top. The 50cal on the left and a M240B on the right. The right Hummer also has the tank barrell bumper installed, as well as the high water snorkel kit. Many of these Hummers were handed over from unit to unit as they rotated through their year deployments. I was told that whenever a Hummer was seen as being in good shape, ie; fixed up for comfort and protection by the crew, it was often then snatched up by some one in the "upper" chain of command for their own use as a mode of transportation. Then the soldier was stuck getting and improving on another vehicle all over again.[img][/img]
