I can confirm the M47 Patton displayed at VFW Post 9473 in Reynoldsburg, OH is SN 2620, identified from the front tow lugs (it seems to have been stamped on both.)

I was at the U.S. Army Transportation Museum at Ft. Eustis on 18JUN13 and saw this M4A3(75)W and M60A3. Neither of which I recall being mentioned before.

Couldn't get close enough to see any s/n on this M4A3.

The s/n on the M60A3 appears to read 3687A while the reg number off of the glacis looks like 9B9153.

I was at the Virginia War Museum in Newport News on 17JUN13 and saw this 2S1. It's not mentioned on the register but was mentioned in a post on this board several years ago.

must be 44480, as it fits with a production order of 580 Composites, from SN 44228 to SN 44807.

Hey P-O,

You're correct! I made a typo on the M4 composite - just checked the photos and it is 44480. Thanks for catching that. I've corrected the original post as well.

Cheers!

Regarding the M26A1 in New Bedford, MA at Franco-American Square - as I noted in my gallery post, the SN is listed in the Registry as 1693 but the SN stamped on the tank is 922.
