I knind of get the feeling that if no one here will know the answer to this, then there's no hope in ever finding out. Does anyone know of the contents according to regulations of what goes in the side bins of the A 30 Challenger tank of WWII vintage? Thanks in advance for any potential leads. MK

A fellow with a restored Duplex Drive Valentine explained that most British tanks were made by individuals assembled parts one at a time. So, the holes on one set of sand guards wouldn't necessarily line up with every other tanks' sand guards. However, vehicle equipment was very likely issued on checklists. Not having an A30 checklist, it is possible to deduce the contents. Depending on the engine, guns and radios, the checklists should match close relatives.
