T-72 is a 1986 Soviet built verhicle. The cyrillic ''X'' translates to ''Kh'' and the ''B'' is a ''V'' in our language.

The ''Kh'' indicates it is 1986 built. The rest of the c/n I don't know (yet).

The T-55 number I can not make anything out of it. I don't have any Polish, Soviet, Czech examples in that number / letter series.

I've seen some T-54s / Type 59s in Vietnam with the same sort of numbers.

Regards

T 55 (SN:5210__005)

Don,
Is the SN above for the Russian or Iraqi T-55?

And there are two T-72s at Richardson right? A T-72M and a T-72M1?

That would have to be an 'IP'

I was in a hurry getting photos of the sn's. Trying to squeeze around the masses vehicle area ( as you know ) wasn't easy.

T-72 is a 1986 Soviet built verhicle. The cyrillic ''X'' translates to ''Ch'' and the ''B'' is a ''W'' in our language.

The ''Ch'' indicates it is 1986 built. The rest of the c/n I don't know (yet).

The T-55 number I can not make anything out of it. I don't have any Polish, Soviet, Czech examples in that number / letter series.

What's that on the right side of that Bradley turret? I've never seen anything like that on a Bradley, and I used to work in the Bradley office at TACOM. Was there a serial number on this one?
