Romanian Military Museum: Shermies, MkIV's, an' stuff....
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Very special thanks to Walter

He managed to identify the big Skoda truck. It's a Skoda H 6ST6-T

Massimo,

I did that truck to death, as I really like it. Got lots of good interior shots my last visit, sadly because it is deteriorating before our very eyes and it's gotten easier to worm a camera around in there. Sad

Fine, I still have some softskin left (mostly tractors), the artillery will go to the dedicated forum

I started on the artillery forum, since I have the first batch of artillery pictures ready:

I already posted all the AFVs I have seen there. Time for more softskins.
The name for this should be Parol 1L22 (please correct me if I am wrong). I have seen it elsewhere, but it's pretty impressive anyway:

Let's post in artillery. I don't think that forum existed yet when I began this thread way back when so I just put everything here....

Some more FAMO views. May have some from left side as well, will look around.

Left side was too near a wall, even with an ultra-wide lens I barely got a front-left shot

Massimo

PS What do you think about the artillery pieces, should we post here or on the artillery forum?

The Famo is ideed very big. I saw the one in Koblenz.

This was the first time I met a 18t in person, I've seen the 12t in Trieste and was already impressed... This is even bigger Shocked

- Walter
Do you have by any chance more picures of the famo in Bucharest ?

Yes, I have more shots, but almost all of them are still in .RAW format, waiting for post-processing. I'll let you know once I am done and send you copies. Are you looking for "portraits" or specific details?

I still own you some shots of the 5t in Sinsheim. I just left my Sinsheim's pictures at the bottom of my backlog, since I am unhappy by their quality (see sticky topic on photography).
