Does anyone know a source for determining exactly what tanks were produced by the Pressed Steel Car Company during WWII? I have found snippets but no comprehensive list. My dad built tanks there before he enlisted in 1943. He remembers the riveted Grants, "open topped tanks" (Priests I assume), flail tanks (!), and shermans... just trying to confirm his memories.

Just from looking up "Pressed Steel" in the index of Hunnicutt's Sherman book: M3 Lee and Grant, M4, M4A1, M7B1, M12, M40, Turrets for the CDL, T3 (Sherman Flail), M32B1, M32B3, M30.

I'm not sure if they built any M4A3.

Thanks. Interesting. I guess his memory was pretty good.
I didn't expect the M4A1s - I didn't think they had a foundry there to cast hulls - wonder where they came from. Turrets as well. There were plenty of founderies nearby in South/East Chicago.
