Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome M1917 Gallery
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Hi All,

I’ve posted a gallery of images of the M1917 Tank owned by the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome in Rhinebeck, NY. The Ordnance Dept No is 18336.

I was fortunate to be escorted across the active runway and given access to the tank by a gent named Cory, one of the volunteer auto restoration guys. He said they are rebuilding the original Buda engine and are currently running the tank with a Chevy engine and transmission. They hope to restore the tank at some point.
