Surviving Pz 61 and Pz 68
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I took a couple photographs of 77825 (in Colorado, USA) today. Do you want me to post one here? I will send them to Surviving Panzers website.

Based on the request below, here are a couple photos of the tank as it sits today.

I've updated the Pz 61 registry:
www.massimocorner.com/...8_Pz61.pdf

There are the usual new, better pictures, but also a great surprise, a new Pz 61 I wasn't aware of. This tank was on display in Aadorf last month, I wasn't there, but Chris was, so he captured a nice picture of it.

On this revision I also tried a minor innovation, at the very bottom of it I've added some minimalistic historical notes, listing the amount of tanks built and the period of active service. I felt it add a bit of context since Pz 61 is a topic hardly discussed outside Switzerland.

I will update the Pz 68 PDF soon, we have plenty of good pictures after all the summer events and more complicated historical notes to add, since there were many subvariants.

I've updated the Pz 68 registry too. We have lot of new tanks:

- The one in Colorado Spring reported by Bruce

- Two from a German museum that were previously without picture

- One Pz 68/88 belonging to a Swiss collector, we seen it at Convoy, it's the first time I managed to have a picture of it

- A new bridgelayer tank

I also added some brief historical notes, to list number of tanks built and their service life for each versions

Massimo,
just a small remark, the Pz68/88 is no longer at Kapellen but at the "new" depot in Brasschaat.
