Greeting Folks. I wanted to make a post about our freindly Mid Atlantic Air Museum flight sim aircraft support. Last week I ordered the R4D disk from MAAM by phone, and yesterday evening it showed up in the mail. It took less than a week, 6 days to be exact, for me to receive this CD disk. Since many of us have the Briefing Time B-25, we all know what kind of work those folks do with their planes. Well, was I surprised when I tried to load it in my computer. The disk was completely blank. I know from personnal experience these things occasionally happen when you burn data to disks, so I looked up the web site for MAAM on the internet, and saw a link to the design/support team. I fired off an e-mail explaining my dilema, and before I went to bed that same night, I had a response. I was told that a new disk would be sent, and I was given a link to a download so I wouldn't have to wait for the disk to be able to fly this beauty. Since the plane is a donation-ware, I won't post the link, but I wanted everyone to know about those great folks at MAAM and the concern they have when their product doesn't meets their high quality work. I also recommend the plane. It is one of a few "payware" add-ons that I will recommend. As most of us know, the donations that we make for these great add-on planes, is used to support the aircraft they fly, and the restoration/maintenance of the planes in the museum.

As you know Wingnut, lot's of people at Com-Central have the MAAM aircraft B-25/ R4D.

We are in the process of making an "EZ-install" for the R4D/DC-3, I can tell you it's going to be pretty BIG, :lol:......... this for the ones that can't choose between all them paintjobs.

As for personal expirience with the MAAM staff, they are top notch !!

I just figured I'd give the plug for all those that don't have both planes. You're right about that staff being top notch, and friendly too. I spoke to the same guy both times, and It was great talking to him.
