Post subject: Sunday 4th November Flight

I was thinking for some time about another Special, but couldn't decide where to go. But now ORBX solved this little problem!

SPECIAL ICELAND SPECIAL ICELAND SPECIAL ICELAND SPECIAL ICELAND SPECIAL

Just a couple of days ago, ORBX released its FREE Iceland Demo. What this demo is all about can be found here: www.fullterrain.com/pr...eland.html

One more thing: Pay attention to download the correct version! There are two versions available, one for those of us who have FTX Global installed and one for those, who do NOT have FTX Global on their PC, so make sure you download and install the correct version. Again, it's FREE and it comes with an unistall routine in case you don't like it.

The island of Iceland is quite big, we cannot circumfly it in one turn, so I plan for at least two, maybe three trips there!

The first trip has a length of about 315 NM, so let's pick a fast Twin or something that flies around with about 180 KIAS.

I hope to see you all Sunday!

Cool! Cool
I just downloaded it last night. I accidentally got the right one, too! Shocked
I was reading about the two different versions, as I was downloading mine. Rolling Eyes
Luckily, I clicked on the right one. Shocked (er . . . the left one, actually! Confused )

One mote thing: Select Spring or Summer, then the scenery looks much better than with all the snow in Fall and Winter.

See you later...

I didn't get the right one and I installed it and got an error message. I tried to uninstall it but it won't uninstall. I'm downloading the right one now. Gunter, will installing it over the wrong one correct the problem?
