Prettiest Pilatus ever. If it had cheeks, I'd pinch them!

Okay, since you like it, here is another one. They are pretty common in my area, but I can imagine they look exotic for most people:

What's up with the long ventral fin thingy? It's a lot more than is needed to protect the tail from exuberant takeoffs, even in a trainer and did any Pilatus, ever, have issues of yaw stability, what with their prominent vertical stabilizers?

AHA! A little wordy, but here it is. Apparently, the aircraft was a lot less suitable in it's role than it's good looks would suggest (low power, nasty spin characteristics, ergo, the ventral fin). Good read, though!

For Bucker's lovers, here is the whole "squadron", with one Bu 131 and four Bu 133. As you can see, two Bu 133 don't have original, radial engines

Final picture and an embarrassing confession. You can see here the Puma's propellers have some "motion blur" that makes the pictures more pleasant and realistic. The way to achieve this is to keep the camera's shutter speed quite low, only for slower and propeller's driven aircraft, you must use faster speed for jets.
Well... After shooting many slower planes, I forgot to raise the shutter speed and I realized too late I ruined all the pictures covering the Hawker Hunter and De Havilland Vampire Sad

Hopefully I will have more pictures to share later this year. The airshow in Payerne has an amazing program and I plan to be there in September:
