Hmmm, or you could save your money and buy a........Saleen Supercharger?? Hmmm? Hmmm??!

Man, never rode one but I sat on a Ducati at last year's December bike mfr's show here in DC.......they must be nice to ride, but my 6' frame and bad knee weren't all that happy. Not even sure I wanna know what a valve adjustment costs (saw a show about it a while back - VERY impressive valvetrain!) But I'll take it from you they're SWEET.

Awwww....you just don't understand us....older guys. I've had a 900SS...and it's not about raw track performance. This other thing looks like Cook Nielson's 750 SS or any of the short-faired racers from the Duck in the '70's. You get a modern bike, with the retro look of the old SS's (which were reportedly among the most uncomfortable bikes ever conceived).

If this thing is under $20K, it's gonna' be hard to say "No"....

Me' old Duc 900SS....was big fun on the Colorado backroads. I eventually sold it to a beer distributor from Glenwood/Aspen...who not long after wadded it up on 52. Pretty much left just a mass of aluminum and fiberglass....they showed the remains to me at the local dealer one day when I happened by..... Rolling Eyes

I was about to change my VFR for a Blade at the start of this Summer until a small incident involving a mountain bike, a high roadside kerb and a busted elbow and hand changed my mind rather suddenly.
