Post subject: Crown Point, IN - M4A1(76) HVSS Gallery

Hi All,

While passing through Crown Point, IN this past weekend, we stopped off and grabbed some photos of the M4A1(76) HVSS on display. I took a photo of the build number on the side, but couldn’t really make out the numbers - they look like 1287 to me however;

They are upside down, not reversed, on the hull. It's 1-321 as seen in your photos. My photos are pre-scraping; I must've seen different photos somewhere. KL

What madness is this? Ok, I've flipped the photo in Lightroom and I see what you're talking about. Is that an A before the 321? Thanks Kurt!

- vagabond Is that an A before the 321?! No, a stamped hyphen and a V-shaped ripple in the casting or the paint. KL
