FYI, there will be a "cabin-less" VC version as well. Wink

Great news to me! I love playing around in the back of the Spartan (who doesn't?), but when it comes right down to it, I fly from the cockpit!

I understand Tom. We do have a wide following and enjoy many downloads. As such, we try to please as many simmers as we can with some variety. I had not planned to do a cabin but had lots of requests for it.

Frankly, I don't fly VC's and neither does Scott. We spend probably 1/3rd or more of project time on them, typically 6-700 hours. So, as you can see, we don't do it for us; we do it for simmers who like our products. Smile

Given the number of gauges and 4 vcockpit sections for this large cockpit, and the need for clarity for the number of gauges and spread of instruments, the VC will likely require some horsepower. Gauges will not be "Spitfire" smooth. Compromises ... and I'm not up to taking on XML programming and modeling gauges for the VC. Hopefully, folks won;t b**** too much. Wink

Milton, I think I speak for quite a few when I say that if your team's names are on a project, it will get flown! I usually use the full 2D for takeoff and the minipanel for landing. I also like a well done VC for the immersion factor - it's fun to look around from that perspective during the cruise phase.

As for horsepower, the VC Howard runs decently on my rig, so I anticipate good results from this one too!

Tom, if the Howard runs "well" with 9 vcockpit sections, you will have no issue with the Dash 7 any version. The Howard was very heavy for me though tolerable.

Wow, a Beech on floats
Well, if the delay for the Dash is one week only... Mr. Green

(I begin thinking we want Milton chained to the 'puter working 24 hours a day for us - no wage, no holidays, and forget about pension - it looks like slavery... well, in this case I'm for it Wink )

We should be adding this amphibian to the package as well. Love this Manfred Saliger texture. Smile
