Post subject: Alternate racing for non-PROPS nights

I've setup a race on the JG300 FS9 server. Some might remember that we tried it a few times, without much success. But this time, I think the interest might be there. The race would be in JG300 BF109's and is kinda like a PROPS cross-country. There are differences, like, there are no gates, but touch-and-gos instead. You need to touchdown and slowdown to about 55 knots until you get the next hop on the top message window. The race starts and ends at the Pigsty, KORS.

Ok, so I must be wrong, the interest might not be there...

If I had FS9 that would be amazing -

UPDATE: Wife asked me what I wanted for Father's Day. The extremely large charcoal grill with side smoker sounds great, even better would be a copy of FS9 to go with it... with it that is, not in it of course!

There may be hope for me yet!

Hey, a copy of FS9 must go around 29 bucks these days... don't deprive yourself. Smile

Maybe let the announcement "soak in" before coming to that conclusion. As for myself, I'm on travel as of yesterday, making the rounds between Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Phoenix, Atlanta then home again later next week, so I'm grounded (although getting plenty of time on the air otherwise).

Well Stoop, I'm sorry, but I don't see any interest here, not for a hundred miles.

I know we've been low-down for the past few months, but hey, if PROPS ainst enough, then noting will.

Apart from that new guy, bless you Hunt, I don't see nothin'... and You're not included boss.

I mean, I try to get something going on, every other weekend, and nobody responds. So That's my conclusion so far.

I've had a lot of random encounters with my fellow Sau each week almost. Each time it has been a great experience and a lot of fun. Especially getting onto TS for a chat.. especially with Hoppa after a few rounds of Southern Comfort! lol

Would be great to get something goin, in complete agreement. It will be harder on CFS3 once the game zone closes down, will have to work twice as hard to schedule meeting times or posting IPs to hosted games.

I am sorry all. I should not "drink and write"... That race is still setup on my server, so maybe we could try it out next weekend, or when possible.

Somebody say DRINK!............................... I'm there!

Just ask Stoop about my drunken rants over at HC....."Fly safe, fly........ Bell my A**", and the whole site came to a standstill. Wink (inside joke)

I know I'm not officially a JG, whenever it was that I first came to the site by way of Ascout it was posted that you weren't hiring so I didn't push it, but I am trying to get the files together to do the racing thing and would be up for joining in if you'll have me.

Exos - Wish I had the means to join you gents on FS9 - but very soon my friend, very soon. After flying with Hoppa and Turkey last night doing an airshow and some very close formation flying (think I came 1/2 inch from Turkey's wing for a short stint) I would be interested in partaking in a much talked about River Race. I am sure it's not the same as PROPS, but would be good for a bit of fun. Followed by some Bomber Dogfights, and the Hot and Cold one (forgot the name). Relive the old days a bit that I hear were so much fun!

Hoppa and I were flyin with the mules, when "JG300-Turkey has joined the game" popped up. I had never heard of him. Hoppa on TS blurted out a "HOLY SH!@, Turkey" which led me to believe he was an actual member and quite an important one at that. We flew with the mules for awhile and then had him start an airshow where he proceeded to show us some tricks along with Hoppa, followed by a very close formation flight with the Saus. He has the new web address here and Hoppas orders to stop in for a visit!

Plans on installing TS as well from what I gathered.

WOW. Yeah, Turkey is wayyy before your time, sorry to say, but he's a helluva guy! QUITE the JG300 V.I.P., (of course, ALL Sau's are V.I.P.) meaning he gets the red carpet treatment!
