.Micheal Hedges really has a guitar style all his own.I bought his Arial Boundries album back in the 80's kind of an audiofile sort of album.:

I saw Hedges in Albuquerque in the '80's...and it's a lucky person who did see him perform (nobody attacked notes like Michael Hedges). Now, it's impossible...he died tragically in a bizarre auto accident where he ran off the road and wasn't found for days afterwards.

I was hoping to get that Robin Trower cd by now but to no avail. Ascout I did not know that Micheal Hedges is gone,that news made me dig through my records for the first time in a while i78.photobucket.com/al...CF0139.jpg these two forgotten gems of mine stirred up a whole pile of dormant emotions that I am still sifting through.His cover of Neil Young's "after the gold rush" left me wondering how I could have forgotten about these? The sound quality (Windham Hill records) is as good as ANY and the content and preformance inspired. As for concerts that I wish I could have seen there are two that come to mind ,first is Frank Zappa and the mothers of invention and the other being Stevie ray Vaughn and Double Trouble. I'm quite thankfull about owning lots of their vinyl

Found a few sound bits at this site www.nomadland.com/Point_A.htm some would not load and the ones from "strings of steel" where he sings kinda make me think that he should stick to the guitar.I really don't think that they did a good job of picking flattering clips and the sound quality is about what you would expect from the web but here it is anyway.Just click on "Sound an motion" over on the left hand side

It's the "Wild Sau" way....our version of Survival-Evasion-Resistance-Escape training...you know, for if you get captured by those SpitPest teams. Waterboarding is a piece of cake compared to this.... Wink
