Post subject: Red Arrows

It seems that the British Government has gone up a gear in there efforts to destroy everything British until no trace of us remains including icons which give the public that feeling off pride albeit for a short time.

One can only assume that due to fact that our leaders seem to feel the need to give away our money hand over fist to any and every lost cause outside of the UK that cuts need to be made.

One such cut the MOD are hoping to make is that of the Red Arrows. After all the don't tend to drop bombs on things and spend the summer flying around having a jolly old time thrilling the public both at events and in transit to them ( For those who are unfamiliar with the Red Arrows they fly very low and in formation between shows which tends to turn heads and has probably been the cause of many a small shunt by drivers turning to watch them pass by).

It's a sad day when it seems we can no longer afford the money to pay for this little piece of national pride.

A petition has been set up here Red Arrows Petition

If you are a British Citizen, and being the type of guys and girls who enjoy there flying ( albeit virtually for most of us ) please take the time to pop by the site and sign the petition.

Sadly our International brothers and sisters can not join us in this although I am sure the community would support us if the option was there.

Many Thanks for indulging me

Alltough not beeing british, I have had the pleasure to be able to watch the Red Arrow's shows a number of times, it would be a darned shame to kill this great good will ambassadors for the UK.

I hope that your "Government" will not succeed in their plans to ground this great aviation display team wich is valued and respected all over the world.

-S-

A great team , we had the same problem over here when our govt. tried to dump the Snowbirds. Public outcry stopped it fast and we still have a team. The cost of the team is not that much in relation to other usless programs. Hope the Arrows keep flying. Point out that airshows are one of the largest crowd draws.

Thanks to those signing or taking the time to read this

As Shades said "pass it round".

Please ignore the length of waffle in the post and let me take the time to thank our very own Shades for teaching me how to post 50 lines when 5 will do. Laughing

ROFL HW...

It's a shame the UK Gov wants to end this. Maybe they should consider shutting off one wing of the Queens Castle to pay for the Red Arrows.. (smirking)

XACKLY!

Or maybe move her out of one of her castles (that she "doesn't own, but just lives in to keep them preserved for the future of the nation") entirely!

Now don't get me on the subject of Harry and William or I will have to hunt you down Laughing

hmmm i'll keep me gob shut on some of that lol, but lets say i'm a royalist at heart! as for the plot theory on Diana i doubt very much it was a inside job, more the stiring up of Bull by an irate egyptian who cant buy British citizenship, remember 1 thing she was no angel herself if memory serves right, just go ask a 6ft 2in guardsman lol.

Jerry, maybe to save the Red Arrows, Com Central should start a donation box, Shades can be the first to donate as he brought up the thread, and you should donate a years pay for coming up with the idea of selling off one o my queens castles wings lol....(smirks even bigger)

Man you guys are lucky we dont behead anymore or i would be dobbin the lot of you in....

Two wrongs dont make right...the idea of buying citzenship sucks.... selling wings of our castles is almost treason....never believe conspiracy theorys its usually a way of making someone rich...

oh yeah n regards the Red Arras as Draken used to call um i doubt any pettition is going to save them with this current govs stand on emissions etc, that will be the next card they will deal in the reasons for getting rid.

Only way out i can see is for a serious Goverment change ASAP!!

"GOD SAVE THE QUEEN"
LMAO......
