WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A judge in the U.S. capital lost his $54 million lawsuit on Monday against a dry cleaner over a pair of misplaced trousers in a case that became a symbol of the United States' lawsuit-happy legal system.

Roy L. Pearson, an administrative law judge in Washington, claimed that a "satisfaction guaranteed" sign in Custom Cleaners misled consumers who, like him, were dissatisfied with their experience.

This story has been quite the joke. I am glad the judge made this scumbag pay for the defendants costs.

I think the worst is that slime ball who owned the world trade center and is trying to get two seperate 4.5 billion dollar claims from the insurance companys after 911. The slime balls lawyers are saying it was 2 seperate attacks thus thier client is intitled to two settlements, like the ones they paid for Pearl Harbour..!! Is it true he purchased the towers just weeks prior to the attacks ?? If so...just a lucky guess..ya right....I think any settlements should go to the brave firefighters and police families and the families of people killed in the attacks. Watch " Loose Change" a 3 part series on Meta Cafe. I havent seen them all through and do not agree with everything the shorts say or imply, but interesting none the less.
