M7 Roadrunner
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Today when driving home south I noted a M7 Priest wreck on a lowloader on the A2 ringroad around Eindhoven city (NLD) in northern direction.

It looked like a former range target, all rusted and damaged.

Maybe Hanno knows more about this movement.

Lesley, do you know if it was an M7 or an M7B2 ?? If it is an M7B2, it could be a wreck coming from a German fire range. Have a look there, it shows many M7B2 wrecks on German fire ranges :

I'am totally not into the M7 variants. What is the difference between them.

It had the same ''cupola'' as the German ones on hartziel

Lesley

The M7B2 can be easily recognized because it has a gun located higher than on the M7 and M7B1 SPGs, and also a higher "cupola" on the left side.
