ROY-M7B1 with 1st Armored Division Post Card
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I wonder if the 1st AD Museum still has this?

It could be this vehicle formerly at Baumholder (assuming the 1st AD took it with them from Fort Hood in 1971), now at Fort Bliss...

I think the Baumholder one is an M7B2. Note the gun is mounted higher. Cool

Oops, sorry, got my M7s mixed up...

Well, in that case, it _could_ be the 1st Cavalry Division Museum's M7.

I say this because the 1st Cavalry Division replaced the 1st Armored Division at Fort Hood in 1971 (when the latter went to Germany). Assuming the 1st AD didnt take the vehicle with them, and the 1st CD fell in on the museum collection, etc...

The vehicle was 'reflagged'. Shocked
