M48 factory (Another cross-post from ML)
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: M48 factory (Another cross-post from ML)

Hi,

Again, may already be known here, but I haven't seen it:

www.network54.com/Foru...istory....

Interesting for a couple of reasons:

1. Some neat pics of both M48s and M103s (I think) in the gallery link.

2. Some of our researchers might like to know where those records are for future reference.

Enjoy!
Chuck

Many thanks Chuck!

Yep, the T43 was the pilot for the M103. That same "first T43" is in storage at Richardson Motor Pool at Fort Knox.

The M3 Lee in the pictures also survives, still in Newark.
