Tanks in town
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

BTW
The weather wasn't that bad, the only rain we had was on Sunday evening. But when the rain did come, there was a lot of it.

Michel

Just ten minutes after we split up on saturday, I saw a suspicious looking guy in a Russian uniform searching for the top secret and well hidden serial number on the Priest, guess who that was Wink .

Michel,

I have some photos that prove I was not the only guy to look for top secret serial numbers on vehicles, during the week-end Mr. Green

But you're right, a guy in Russian uniform looking for serial numbers on an allied vehicle must always be considered as suspect...

BTW thanks for the wafels

Well that's my luck, the fun alway's start after I leave the place

Was it the same suspicious russian guy we both saw earlier that morning Wink
Because I think he was scouting the area Cool

Concerning the wafels, I had 2 pack's of them
I will save the other pack for the next meeting Laughing

Now an more serious question.
Where to will they move the event if it is not longer possible to keep it at the current location

I already have an proposal for the next location of TiT, the "Royal Golf Club Du Hainaut" it is just 5km from the current location

Then Michel and the Priest can take cover in an sand pit and they can dig trenches at hole 18

Michel

Well, indeed we were 2 Russian spies looking for new allied secret material. We were well hidden in the woods, and only few people saw us spying and taking serial numbers and factory markings on the vehicles :

We discovered amazing materials. The most important discovery is a new kind of "zimmerit" that we found on an M29 Weasel. This is probably the prototype version :

We were also able to see the very "top secret bigot" prototype of M4A1 Sherman engine air coolers :

And the most important discovery is the M7B2 Howitzer that fires invisible ammunitions !!! I saw it from my own eyes, the shell is invisible !!! amazing

We got the help from a KGB agent, that was well disguized into a Belgian army soldier. He helped a lot the Soviet Union, in finding the factory markings of these incredible secret weapons :

I heard the M7B2 Priest had been sabotaged with an piece of rubber hose

This gave some confusion during an engine run test and the problem had to be discussed

I heard your NKVD spy know's more about the problem Wink

Michel

note: the KGB was only created in 1954, before that it was called NKVD Twisted Evil
