Israeli M5 half-track at the MVTF
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: Israeli M5 half-track at the MVTF
Today, we took the Israeli M5 half-track out for a quick spin at the MVTF. Our new volunteer maintenance chief and his mechanic friend got it running after several days of work on it during the past month. We'll be taking it along with our M16 MGMC, M43B1 ambulance and the 3.7cm Pak to the "Hot San Jose Nights" car show the weekend of July 8-10.

Here are a couple of pics of it after we parked it outside prior to it getting washed tomorrow afternoon. IT fired up beautifully and runs great. I'm looking forward to driving it for next week's show.
