M3 Lee Medium Tank, something new at Ft Bliss Nu 5
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Hi Folks!

This looks like the M3 that was setting next to the museum building in that video of the M5 Stuart being lifted onto the carrier.
The serial number on the rear tow lugs is 4559.

Looks like the TC mini turret has been replaced by a split hatch from a Sheman.

Versions with the split hatch are command vehicles aren't they?
