An article on the Christie SPGs is "in preparation"

I should be transparent about this - I wrote the articles and look after
Landships II.

The US SPGs were more like "gun carriers" than the modern idea of an SPG. There were some pretty impressive vehicles developed - the Holt Mark VI could get up to 30mph in an emergency (on tracks in 1921).
The later SPGs were faster than most tanks of the period.
