This M44 is located right in front of 1st CAV HQ's, on the parade field. I snapped it's pictures while getting some of the M1 that's there as well. Seems to be in pretty good shape and I don't think I listed this one before as being on Ft Hood. There was a small data plate on the lower front left hull, (as you look head on). Its only number was 3713061, but it was very clear to read. The one picture shows the rear numbers, they are 8385051, and right below that is FMG 0 326-13-2. I dont think these mean anything but I thought I post this anyway. Enjoy.

Thanks! I take it thats not the M44 on Old Ironsides Ave (along with an M52)?

Thats right, this is a different one. There is also a Bradley and an UH-1 on the parade field but I didn't have time to snap them. I also noticed an M113 series vehicle with the Vulcan AA gun mounted up top. I'll have to go check it out as well soon, and as soon as I do, AFV will be the first ones to see it!

Thanks for the info. I dont think either number is an RN, although its possible, since they dont have any letters - and they seem too long to be SNs. On the other hand, numbers stamped into the hull often mean something...
