Couple of interesting M60A2 pics...
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: Couple of interesting M60A2 pics...

Can't make out the unit...looks like "57" or "67" when I enhance contrast on that muddy fender in the color shot. I'm guessing it's Germany.

Interesting that guy in the B&W shot is wearing his sidearm on his hip...had the shoulder holsters gone out of issue for .45's by the late '70's or early '80's? I see a regular steel pot on the bustle rack, so maybe he's not crew.

Nice "cheater bar" they got there. Wink
